This is the week all LSU fans have circled on their football schedule. It's LSU and Alabama football week and for the Tigers, they get to host the game here in Louisiana this year.

The stage is set for LSU to host the Crimson Tide this Saturday evening, November 9, 2024, in Baton Rouge and the stadium will be loud. Both teams are coming off of a by-week. Both LSU and Bama usually make sure that they have the week off before playing each other every year. Yes, this game is that important to both universities, football programs, and to the fans.

The Tigers currently sit at 6-2 on the season with losses to USC and Ole Miss this year and ranked #14 in the AP poll. Alabama is also 6-2 on the season suffering losses to Vanderbilt and Tennessee and they are ranked #11 in the AP Poll.

So the game this Saturday will be not only between two top 15 teams but bitter rivals too. This will be the first year LSU plays Alabama without Nick Saban at the helm for the Crimson Tide.

Do you want to go to the game and are thinking about buying tickets? Then you better check your finances or apply for a loan real quick to purchase some. We found tickets on Seatgeek.com that are available for around $243 each but you are going to be closer to heaven than you will be to the field because they will be in the nosebleed section.

Now if you want to sit in the lower bowl closer to the field, you may need to get a loan from a bank or a family member. Tickets close to the field are going from $400 to almost $600 a ticket. Oh and don't forget about the ticket fees and taxes applied to every ticket and you will most certainly be close to $1200-$2000 for a pair.

Good news for all of you who don't want to fork out that kind of cash, the game will be nationally televised on ABC Saturday night with kickoff set for 6:30 pm.
