Watch George Strait Read a Children’s Book

A recent Facebook live video shows the King of Country doing what he does best: telling a story. Strait sat down on the couch for a little story time featuring celebrities from Texas reading various books. The program is called Stars of Texas Storytime, featuring Texas First Lady, Cecilia Abbott.

Strait chose to read Never Ask a Dinosaur to Dinner, by Gareth Edwards. Strait pretty much nails the book by not only reading it, but also going old school teacher style and showing off all of the pictures. Abbot began the storyteller episodes in April at the start of the pandemic and has had lots of Texas celebrities read and spread joy to their fellow Texans.
