Water Systems seek customer assistance

All residents in Calcasieu Parish who are currently experiencing water outages are being urged to turn off your water at the roadside water vales if you are able to do so safely.

This is going to be a big help with assisting providers to begin delivering service sooner. This will also assist with reducing issues like leaks or broken pipes that could cause a shutdown of water systems. Crews are working hard and promptly to identify issues and make necessary repairs. If you suspect a leak or other damage to your water system, please contact your water system provider.

Once water is restored, it is recommended that residents adhere to a boil advisory until it is safe for those advisories to be lifted. Also make sure all water meters are cleared of debris to prevent any further delays. The City and parish have completed all requests and paperwork for federal relief but are awaiting approval.
