We Have Found Out What The Old Pitt Grill Restaurant In Sulphur Will Be…

It seems like every few weeks here in Southwest Louisiana a new restaurant pops up around the area. Well in Sulphur, 102 Benoit Ln has been a few places over the years. Most of us still know the building as the Pit Grill, which was there for years! Well, there is going to be a new restaurant going into the building and we know what it will be!

A few weeks ago, we noticed a post on Social Media that was floating around that indicated there may be a new restaurant coming to town in Sulphur. We did some digging around and we think we have figured out what it will be.

Most of the local folk, still refer to the building as Pitt Grill... Even though after the Pitt Grill, it was the Red Apple. I know for me, it will ALWAYS be the Pitt Grill. Those morning breakfast stops were the best!

As I was leaving work the other day, I decided to ride through Sulphur to see if we could get any indication of what the future restaurant would be. I was met with a kind surprise. It looks like the area will be getting a new Mexican restaurant!

The Alcoholic Beverage Permit that was placed on the door, indicates that El Tapatio Mexican Cusina will call 102 Benoit Ln in Sulphur home.

El Tapatio Mexican Grill actually already has a few locations here in Southwest Louisiana with a location in Lake Charles and a location in Westlake.
