The Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana, will be holding its annual Powwow on Friday and Saturday, June 12th and 13th. The event is open to all ages and will feature dancing, more than 70 vendors offering handcrafted and one-of-a-kind Native American goods.

GI Joe's Gym in Moss Bluff will be hosting its 2nd annual Battle In The Bluff Tug of War competition this Saturday, June 13th, 2026. It is taking place at the soccer fields in Moss Bluff, starting at 11:00 am, and all are invited to attend. There will be four divisions: Men, Women, Co-Ed, and High School. The winner in each division wins $500, so sign up today here.

Swamp Pop legend Don Rich will be performing live at Jellystone RV Park and Resort in Lake Charles this Saturday, June 13, 2026. He will be playing under the pavilion starting at 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. You don't have to stay at the park to attend the concert.
