KNGT | Westlake, LA — If you’re looking for something to do next weekend, Westlake has you covered. The 4th Annual West Fest is happening Saturday, October 3rd, at Pinederosa Park in Westlake, Louisiana, and it sounds like they’re fixing to have a pretty good time.

Gates open at 1 p.m., with live music starting at 2:30 p.m. And y’all, they’ve got a solid lineup this year. The Kevin Barton Band, Brandon Ledet, Dani LaCour, and Steel Shot will all take the stage during West Fest.

That’s a whole afternoon of live music right here in Southwest Louisiana. One thing I love about events like this is you don’t have to make it complicated. Grab your people, load up the lawn chairs, pack the ice chest, and head to Westlake. And YES, you can bring your lawn chairs and ice chests. Trust me, I’m bringing my lawn chairs for sure.

And don't forget about the Vendors and the Food Trucks. Im hoping my cookie dealer will be setup...

There’s just something about sitting outside with a cold drink, listening to live music, and passing a good time with folks from around Southwest Louisiana. West Fest has now made it to its fourth year, and I love seeing local events like this continue to grow.

So if you don’t already have plans for Saturday, October 3rd, you might want to put Westlake on the list.

Bring the lawn chairs. Bring the ice chest. Bring your people. And come pass a good time in Westlake! Now we pray that we get a cold front and we can break out the hoodies that are stashed in the back of our closets!
