It wasn't always pretty during Regional Weekend as the college baseball world saw many National Seeds go down, but LSU wasn't one of those. Though things did get a little hairy down 5-1 in a winner-take-all Game 7 on Monday Night, the Tigers were able to prevail and defeat Little Rock to advance to the Super Regionals.

The Tigers were able to get HUGE swings from guys like Ethan Frey, Luis Hernandez, Jared Jones, Steven Milam, and others to slug their way to a 10-6 win.

Don’t sleep on West Virginia, though. The Mountaineers went 3-0 in their Regional, including a crazy comeback win where they were down five runs in the 8th inning and still won. That team doesn’t quit.

They’ve got some big bats too, with a team average around .299. Skylar King, Jace Rinehart, Kyle West, and Armani Guzman all came up clutch in their regional. Guzman was even named the tournament MVP. When looking at the Mountaineers, their pitching might not be as deep as LSU in the bullpen, but they find ways to get it done.
