What’s Going To Be Built At Old Chase Bank Location On Ryan Street In Lake Charles?

For many years on the corner of Ryan Street and East School Street in Lake Charle was home to the Chase Bank in Lake Charles. The branch of the bank was housed there until 2020 when it was pretty much destroyed by Hurricane Laura in August of that year.

It sat empty for a while until the company just tore the building down and we guess decided not to rebuild it because it has been sitting as a vacant lot since they tore it down. Now we can only assume that they have sold the property because there is now a sign sitting on the property saying coming soon with a local business name on it.

We were driving by there the other day when we got stopped a the red light of Ryan and School we noticed the sign and we took a quick picture of the sign to share with you.

It looks like they are going to be building a Mike's Carwash at the old Chase Bank location according to the sign. Mike's already has one location in Lake Charles and is located at 4828 Nelson Road in front of Kroger's Shopping Center facing Country Club Road.

According to the sign above, the next location will be at the corner of Ryan and School Streets in Lake Charles.
