The McNeese Cowboys continue turning heads this season as the Men's Basketball team is off to its best start since the 1970s. Today, Head Coach Will Wade and DJ Richards sat down to talk about the buzzer-beater win and they look ahead to the matchup with the University of New Orleans on Saturday.

In a game that was unlike any other most people have seen, the McNeese Cowboys were able to erase an 18-point deficit and come back to win insanely.

With 3.2 seconds remaining, Jordan Roberts of the Islanders, who led all scorers with 18 points, fouled Mike Saunders Jr., sending him to the free-throw line. Saunders made the first but missed the second off the front rim.  Collum had a nice look at it initially but he missed, but never fail, Christian Shumate came to save the day and came skying in for the eventual game-winning tip.
