You Can Buy Country Music’s Patsy Cline’s Tennessee Home
Buy a piece of country music history that has been frozen in time. Patsy Cline's "Dream Home" is up for sale in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Cline "blew up" in the country music scene in 1957 when she was featured on Authur Godfrey's Talen Scouts for singing Walkin' After Midnight.
Cline's "Dream Home" is a 4 bed 3 bath home complete with a basement. It has been meticulously frozen in time and kept that way. The basement was even rented out as an Air BNB for a while before it went up for sale. Sadly, Cline only lived in her dream home for under a year due to her death in 1963. After her death, the home was sold to Wilma Burgess. Burgess actually found a stash of cash behind a random brick in the fireplace sometime later.
It is believed that the old Cline house is haunted due to the fact that her casket was brought into the home for viewing after her death. This was a big tradition at the time after someone had passed away. Owners of the home would say that random doors would open and shut, and the toilet would flush on its own randomly. Sounds pretty creepy to me!
The home is currently on Zillow, and you can purchase the 2,770 square foot place for $549,900.
