Cruise lines typically offer standard three, four, five, seven, and eight-day cruises most of the time but now one popular cruise line has upped the stakes and will be offering a 16-day cruise out of Louisiana.

Carnival Cruises has announced that in April of 2025, its ship The Carnival Valor will set sail on a 16-day adventure out of the port of New Orleans. According to the Carnival website, this unique cruise is set to sail on Thursday, April 25th, 2025. The ship will stop at six beautiful ports starting with Nassau in the Bahamas.

So where is the Carnival Valor going on its 16-day journey? The stops include:

  • Nassau in the Bahamas
  • Ponta Delgada in the Azores
  • Madeira, Portugal
  • Malaga, Spain
  • Alicante, Spain
  • Barcelona, Spain

The journey ends on the 16th day in Barcelona when the ship arrives that morning. You can stay and explore as much as you want.

So how much do you think this 16-day cruise is? According to the Carnival website, prices start at $869 per person based on double occupancy in the cabin.

The ship will not be bringing you back to New Orleans so cruisers will need to get a flight to fly back to your home.
