Boxing in Lake Charles at Rikenjaks This Weekend

You read it right. Tomorrow (Saturday September 14) at Rikenjaks in Lake Charles, there will be a boxing ring set up in the parking lot as C4S Presents Boxing Night. They're calling it Texas VS Louisiana and it will feature amateur boxers from both states competing. All ages are welcome to go and watch the fight.

Doors open at 3:00pm and the first fight starts at 4:00pm. It is a ticketed event with prices starting at $15 online and $20 at the door. Of course, there will be food and beer, and the public is invited to the weigh-ins starting at noon.

According to the event page, there are 23 boxing clubs representing along with seven unattached fighters. Fighters will be both male and female. Tickets available are ringside, VIP Tables, and general admission. You can purchase them on the eventbrite site here.
