Chris Janson is an American country music singer and songwriter who was born on April 2, 1986. Janson has recorded one extended play for each of Bigger Picture Music Group, Columbia Records, and Warner Nashville in addition to three full-length albums—Buy Me a Boat, Everybody, and Real Friends—through Warner Records Nashville.

Janson has achieved success with several tracks, including "Good Vibes" and "Done," which peaked at number one on the Country Airplay list and the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Along with writing songs, Janson has contributed to records by Holly Williams, Lee Brice, Tim McGraw, LoCash, Randy Houser, and Hank Williams Jr.

Janson took off when his song "Buy Me A Boat" back in 2015.
