Country Artist Chris Lane Coming To Lake Charles In August

Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana will have a busy summer and fall with a lot of live concerts coming here to the area. It has just been announced that Chris Lane is coming to Lake Charles in August and we have everything you need to know...

Chris Lane is an American singer-songwriter of country music born on November 9, 1984. As the lead singer of the Chris Lane Band, he has put out three albums: Laps Around the Sun, Girl Problems, and Girl Problems, through Big Loud Records. Three of Lane's seven singles—"Fix," "I Don't Know About You," and "Big, Big Plans"—went to No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts.

Lane has a twin brother named Cory and was raised in Kernersville, North Carolina. He and his brother played baseball and football at Glenn High School, and they both continued their baseball careers at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. When sporting injuries ended his hopes of playing professional baseball, Lane took up guitar lessons.

The Golden Nugget has been hosting big-time events for a while now, and that will continue this summer bringing in country artists Sammy Kershaw, Mark Chesnutt, Pat Green, the Casey Donahew Band, and more. It also looks like they will end summer by bringing in Chris Lane to perform on August 3rd at 8:00.
