Events and Concerts In Lake Charles/SWLA This Weekend April 5-7

The weekend is here folks and time to relax and put work and other responsibilities aside, let your hair down, and have some fun.

Whether you are looking for live music at a restaurant, want to see a concert, or maybe take in a ball game, we have a list of things going on in the Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana area this weekend, April 5th through 7th, 2024.

Rusty Metoyer is live at Cowboys nightclub located at 5329 Common Street in Lake Charles on Friday night. Doors open at 9:00 pm and Rusty is recording the concert for his next live album.

Leroy Thomas will be live at Linda's Lounge on Lake Street in Lake Charles on Friday night. Leroy and his band The Zydeco Roadrunners will hit the stage at 9:00 pm.

Doc Wilder will be performing live at The Boardwalk located on East McNeese Street in Lake Charles in the shopping center where the Mancave Salon is located. Doc will hit the stage at 7:00 pm.

The McNeese women's softball team will host Lamar in Lake Charles this Weekend starting Friday evening. Friday's game starts at 6:00 pm and on Saturday they will have a doubleheader with the first game starting at 1:00 pm and the second one starting at 3:00 pm. All three games will be played at Cowgirl Diamond.

Real Cajun music is heading to Southeast Texas for a day full of live entertainment, dancing, food, and fun. The 9th Annual Cajun Heritage Fest is headed to Port Arthur, Texas this Saturday, April 6th, 2024, and will be stacked with great entertainment. Click HERE for the entertainment lineup.

Johnny Jimenez will be live at Panorama in downtown Lake Charles on Friday night. Johnny and his band will play from 9:00 pm until midnight.
