A surprised George Strait -- who is in the midst of his farewell Cowboy Rides Away Tour -- took the Entertainer of the Year at the 47th Annual CMA Awards last night.

Taylor Swift was the night's other big winner, picking up three trophies, including the Pinnacle Award, Musical Event and Video of the Year for her contribution to Tim McGraw's "Highway Don't Care."

Miranda Lambert won her fourth consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year award, tying her with Reba McEntire and Martina McBride for the most wins in the category. And, Blake Shelton won his fourth consecutive Male Vocalist of the Year Award.
