The first ladies of country music are gathering for a special cause. Country music fans will love the event, but it's organizations like Make A Wish Foundation that are the true winners.
Special honors will be given to the Female Superstars of Country. It's great to see the music community put together this kind of star power for the fans and for such a great cause.
The Academy of Country Music has announced Reba, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert and Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles as the honorees for their upcoming Girls' Night Out: Superstar Women of Country televised concert special, which will be taped on Monday, April 4 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Martina McBride has already done a great deal for charity with her work to prevent domestic violence. As if that list were not good enough, more names are expected to be added to the list of honorees, and we will keep you up to date with the latest news.
