For the first time ever, the Academy of Country Music is taking a totally different spin on the way they unroll their awards. This year, they’re hitting the internet and announcing the 2012 ACM Awards nominees on Facebook and Twitter, with the bulk of the nominations being unveiled during a digital press conference on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 6:30 AM PT.

It was bound to happen. A young man tastes success, and his family tries to bring him down. The American Country Music Awards wants your vote.  You have a say in two categories in this year's ACM Awards.  Vote for your favorite New Solo Vocalist and the Top New Vocal Duo or Group.  Fan voting begins January 27th and ends on February 24th, so you still have plenty of time to choose from the Academy's list of top artists.
