Are you looking for a few stocking stuffing idea? Do you have a Country music fan to shop for? Well, I might just have an idea or two for you.

The soundtrack for NBC’s The Sound of Music Live! hits stores today. Carrie Underwood performing the classic title track, “My Favorite Things” and “The Lonely Goatherd" all made the 22-track compilation. The Sound of Music Live! premieres on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. The DVD lands in stores on December 17th.

 

 

Also in stores, Jake Owen’s new album Days of Goldlands in stores today. Opening with the lead title single, the 12-track collection features material by some of Nashville’s biggest hit-makers including Luke Laird (Brad Paisley’s “Beat This Summer”), Shane McAnally (Miranda Lambert’s “Mama’s Broken Heart”) and the Cadillac Three’s Jaren Johnston (Keith Urban’s “You Gonna Fly”).

 

 

Release week has Jake visiting ABC’s Good Morning America on Wednesday and Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday. His next show is Saturday in Anaheim, California. Also out today is the Dolly Parton and Friends: Collection DVD featuring special guests Brenda Lee, Linda Ronstadt, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard.
