1st Annual Pizza Fest Coming to Lake Charles Saturday!

This Saturday, April 21 will be the Lake Area's first Pizza Fest, featuring pizza brought to you by: On the Rocks, CiCi's, Mellow Mushroom, Sloppy's Downtown, and more. With the purchase of an armband, each fest-goer can try a slice of pizza. Admission to the event is free and is completely family friendly. The prolific pizza providers will also compete against each other for "Best Pizza in Lake Charles." Celebrity judges from the Lake Area will put their tongues to the test as they judge the slices.

Inside of Sloppy's Downtown, there will be an art display of various pizza works featuring the art department of McNeese. The pieces (or slices) will be for sale, as well. Along with the art display inside, local artists from the Lake Area will be in attendance, showing their amazing work.

There will be live music from 4pm-10pm, and an afterparty inside of Sloppy's Downtown.

The Fest will be in the parking lot located behind Sloppy's Downtown.

I can only hope that my favorite pizza-loving crime fighters will show up...
