The nominees for the 2018 Grammy Awards were revealed on Nov. 28, and a number of country artists found themselves waking up to the news that they had been nominated for trophies at the upcoming awards ceremony. Some used social media to express their excitement and gratitude for the nods.

Jason Isbell, who is nominated for Best Americana Album and Best American Roots Song, was quick to thank his 400 Unit bandmates and congratulate them on "OUR nomination." Hillary Scott and Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum shared that they were thrilled to be among the Best Country Album nominees at the 2018 Grammy Awards, after not receiving Grammys nominations for a few years. And Reba McEntire admitted that she feels higher powers at work when it comes to her Best Roots Gospel Album nod.

"Timing is everything," she writes, "and everything happens for a reason."

The 60th annual Grammy Awards will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Jan. 28. The televised ceremony will begin at 7:30PM ET on CBS; the pre-telecast Premiere Ceremony will be available to stream online earlier in the evening.
