Get ready as the 2002 college football season is about to kickoff and for LSU football fans, it can't come fast enough. There are some new changes coming for the 2022 season.

One of the biggest is last season, Ed Orgeron left the program and the LSU athletic department hired Brian Kelly as the new head coach. Kelly comes from Notre Dame and will now be tested as he coaches in the SEC which is one of it not the top conference in college football.

The Tigers will play 12 games this season with seven of those games being at home in Tigers Stadium. LSU will face off against Florida State in the Superdome in New Orleans for the first game of the year but let's face it, that is basically another home game for the Tigers.

The LSU Tigers Athletic department has announced that single home game tickets are now on sale and available for purchase.  Now don't be getting your hopes up to high because the LSU-Alabama game in Baton Rouge is not available.

Home game tickets that are available include LSU against Southern On September 10th, Mississippi State on September 17th, New Mexico on September 24th, Ole Miss on October 22nd, and UAB on November 19th.

On LSU's website, they also said that there is a limited amount of season tickets still available too. Click here to check out the single game tickets or even possibly buy season tickets.  

LSU will face off against Florida State in the Superdome in New Orleans to kick off the 2022 season. That game will take place on Sunday, September 4th at 6:30 pm. No word on what channel it will be televised on at this time. GEAUX Tigers!
