According to the March 28, 2020 noon update from the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), 3,315 (up from 2,746 on 3/27) total cases of coronavirus have now been confirmed in Louisiana. There are currently 927 COVID-19 patients in hospitals (up from 773 on 3/27), 336 (up from 270 on 3/27) of which are on ventilators.

Of Louisiana's 64 parishes, 56 (up from 54 on 3/27) have reported cases. There have been 137 total deaths (up from from 119 on 3/27) reported statewide.
