5th Annual Coushatta Farmer’s Market This Weekend

This Saturday, April 7, from 7am to Noon will be the 5th Annual Coushatta Farmer's Market. Along with this amazing market, there will be the Amateur Jambalaya Cook-off. Teams will be starting at 6:30am to get their pots hot, and starting cooking. Not only will it be judged, there will be a people's choice award as well. Top 3 winners will receive cash prizes, and, of course, bragging rights as well.

Over 30 vendors will be in attendance for the market selling things like: produce, jellies and jams, local honey, and homemade crafts.

There will be live entertainment as well provided by The Barney Floyd Jazz Band. The band is from New Orleans, and has spent their years performing all around the world including Broadway.
