6th Annual Iowa Arts and Crafts Festival

Attention All Art Fanatics!  Iowa Arts and Crafts Festival is This Saturday!

This year's festival will be held on Saturday, August 23rd from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Iowa Community Center.  This event is free & open to the public. Live entertainment, light refreshments, arts and crafts demonstrations, pony rides and displays are all part of this year’s scheduled events.

Schedule of Events...

9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.: Emma Hughes weaves traditional baskets.

9:00 a.m.: E.J. McCann will be burning it up at the blacksmith forge.

9:00 a.m.: Shriner Clown “Hobo Bill & friends” creates balloon art for children.

9:00 a.m.: Toy Maker, Jim Benoit presents the “Play Zone” for the young & young at heart.

10:00 a.m.: An Adult class – Marble Vase Creations (online pre-registration required @www.calcasieulibrary.org/programs - space limitations apply.)

10:30 a.m.: “Ponies ‘R Us” offers free pony rides to young children.

11:45 a.m.: Cloud Nine will perform live music.
