Last week, we announced that two Louisiana music legends, Randy Boudreaux and Wayne Toups had teamed up for a new song called Cajun Angel. The song is terrific and has been well received.

Wayne Toups is the best-known Louisiana music artist of all time. Wayne has been writing, recording, touring, and performing music for over four decades now releasing some of the most iconic songs in Louisiana music history. Wayne's best-known song is Take My Hand and Tupelo Honey but he has so many more hits.

Randy is from Iowa, Louisiana, and has written great country songs that you will know like Alibis performed by Tracy Lawrence and was also the title track on Tracy Lawrence's album. Randy also wrote the song Brokenheartsville recorded by Joe Nichols and wrote the song Goodnight Sweetheart performed by David Kersh.

The new song and video for the song were released last week and feature both artists singing the tune and Randy Boudreaux wrote the hit.

Boudreaux said that this song is dedicated to our Cajun Angel (Marie Boudreaux) & all of the Cajun Angels in Heaven.
