We seem to be hearing more and more about store closures these days, and now it looks like another well-known brand may be making significant cuts. You may want to take note of this if you have ever made a purchase from Advance Auto Parts. It has been reported that the corporation intends to close several of its locations nationwide, and regrettably, some of the stores in Louisiana may be included in the list. This is what we currently know.

According to those findings, the North Carolina-based auto parts supplier had a not-so-secret plan to close a large number of its sites by the middle of the next year. They intend to shut down four distribution centers, 204 independent locations, and 523 corporate locations.

According to MarketWatch, a transcript of the call indicates reductions in "certain eastern states," even though the business did not immediately release a list of the places impacted by the closures. Additionally, it implies that the distribution sites included in this round of closures are located in the western region.

At the moment, Advance Auto Parts operates 61 locations in Louisiana. According to the MarketWatch infographic, Louisiana has a few on the chopping block, including Southwest Louisiana.

The only source we could locate for this map and data was MarketWatch. Although the company has not made an official announcement and the potentially impacted locations have not yet been published on commercial real estate websites, it appears that Louisiana will lose at least a few stores.
