Aguillard And Mount Will Be In Runoff

It's was a highly publicized race in Calcasieu Parish and it will come down to a runoff.  According the Louisiana Secretary of State website, Wendy Curphy Aguillard received 48.85% of the vote with Willie Mount getting 38.26% in the Calcasieu Assessor race.  Coming in third was "Mike" Regan who brought in 12.88%.

The runoff will most likely be held on November 19th, and I'm sure that Southwest Louisiana will hear more from both candidates between now and the election.
