Alabama Wins College Football National Title 45-40

After tonight's matchup between Alabama and Clemson, Coach Nick Saban is now one championship shy of Bear Bryant.

The Tide defeated the Tigers of Clemson 45-40 in Arizona to win their fouth title in seven years. Crimson Tide tight end O.J. Howard had 208 yards receiving and two touchdowns while Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry scored three times.

Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson passed for 407 yards with four touchdown throws and rushed for another 73 yards in the Tigers' first loss of the season.
