Top 10 Louisiana Foods You’ll Find in Southwest Louisiana

🐊 KNGT 🐊 | Louisiana — Growing up in Louisiana, I’ve always been surrounded by amazing food. Trust me when I say I’ve had plenty of it. At one point in my life, I was pushing 400 pounds, so I feel pretty safe saying, I know good food when I taste it!

There’s something special here in SWLA, the flavors we have down here are like no other. From the spicy and sweet, or the smoky and savory, food here connects us in more ways than one. It’s one of the big reasons I love calling Louisiana home.

The other day I got to thinking, “What are the top foods that really represent Louisiana?” So, I did what most folks do, I asked Google. After clicking around and doing a little digging, I found a pretty solid list of the most popular and must-try Louisiana foods.
