Blue Bell Brings Back Popular Patriotic Flavor After Nearly 10 Years

KNFT-FM - It's always a great day when we can add a new or old flavor of ice cream to our freezer. Our friends at Blue Bell have announced they're bringing back a popular flavor just in time for America's 250th anniversary celebration.

Thursday, Blue Bell Ice Cream announced they're bringing back one of its most popular seasonal flavors, Red, White & Blue Bell Ice Cream.

Fan-Favorite Blue Bell Ice Cream Flavors

Blue Bell Ice Cream is the perfect way to cool down during hot Louisiana summers. Whether you’re at a backyard barbecue, hanging out by the pool, or just looking for a sweet treat after a long day, there’s nothing like a cold scoop of your favorite flavor.

Blue Bell has been busy adding new flavors this year. In recent months, the company introduced Black Raspberry Fudge, Brookie À La Mode, and a new line of protein-packed pints. The company also released Honey Vanilla Ice Cream and brought back the fan-favorite Java Jolt flavor.

Blue Bell Announces They're Bringing Back Red, White, & Blue Flavor

On Thursday, we got some pretty exciting news as Blue Bell announced they are bringing back their popular Red, White, and Blue flavor ahead of the 4th of July celebrations. The flavor is coming back to stores in SWLA this week after being gone for nearly a decade.

The ice cream combines strawberry, vanilla-flavored, and blueberry-flavored ice creams all in one carton. It also includes real blueberries mixed throughout the treat.

The good news is you can get Blue Bell Ice Cream pretty much anywhere you shop here in Southwest Louisiana. You can find Blue Bell products at grocery stores across the Lake Charles area, including Albertsons, Kroger, Rouses Market, Market Basket, Brookshire Brothers, and Walmart. Many CVS, Walgreens, and local convenience stores also carry Blue Bell.

But, you'd better get the Red, White, and Blue flavor quick; the company says the patriotic flavor will only be available for a limited time and will be sold in half-gallon containers while supplies last.
