Lake Charles, Louisiana - It's a great day when we get new businesses investing in Southwest Louisiana, and it looks like we're getting a new restaurant here in the Lake Area, and it's already starting to take shape.

The last major restaurant we were waiting for to come to SWLA was a little over a year ago. Twin Peaks announced they were coming to Lake Charles, but since the company has filed for bankruptcy, the future is still uncertain.

Bubba's 33 Coming To Lake Charles

According to Discovering SWLA, construction has begun on a brand new sports-themed restaurant and is expected to open in 2027.

The restaurant coming to Lake Charles is Bubba's 33. It is a popular sports-themed chain that has been growing across the country. The company is actually a sister restaurant to Texas Roadhouse.

Bubba's 33 has been expanding all across the Country, but was started back in 2013 by Kent Taylor. They currently have over 50 locations across the country. There actually is one location already in Louisiana, in Ruston.

The menu focuses on simple favorites like burgers, pizza, and beer. Bubba's 33 features numerous TVs and a wide selection of drinks, including ice-cold domestic and imported beer, margaritas, and handcrafted cocktails. Check out their menu by CLICKING HERE.

Where Will It Be Located?

According to the report from Discovering SWLA, the new location is set to be at the roundabout near Prien Lake Road and Holly Hill.
