Lake Charles, Louisiana (KNGT-FM) - For years, at the top of many Southwest Louisiana's "wish list" has been to have a Costco right here in the Lake Charles area. Well, we might have found something that may lead us to believe something may be in the works about a potential location. Here's what we've found...

What Is A Costco?

Shoppers can find everything from groceries and household goods to electronics, clothing, and even services like optical care and travel deals. Costco operates on a membership model, which helps keep prices low while maintaining quality. The store is especially known for its Kirkland Signature brand, generous return policy, and food court favorites like hot dogs and pizza. (THAT PIZZA IS SOOOO GOOD!!!)

Costco already has four warehouses in Louisiana, with locations including Baton Rouge, Covington, Lafayette, and New Orleans. Could Lake Charles be NEXT on the list? Let's look into it...

Could Costco Be Coming To Lake Charles? Job Listings Hint at That

We were scrolling the internet a few days ago when we ran across a job listing for Costco-Lake Charles. The only problem is THERE ISN'T A COSTCO IN LAKE CHARLES... Yet.

The jobs that were listed were:

• Store Team Member
• Order Processing Specialist
• Payment Processor
• Merchandiser
• Customer Service Associate/Cashier

Even crazier, each of the jobs was listed (or updated) within the last few weeks... Take a look at the photo below...
