Chris Young Turns 33 Today

Country music superstar Chris Young is turning the ripe old age of 33 today!  Chris started his career in 2002 but didn't raise to fame until 2006 after he was on a national singing show.

Chris Young was on the singing show Nashville Star on USA Network back in 2006.  He won the whole thing which got him a recording contract with RCA Nashville.

His first release was the song he wrote and performed on Nashville Star called "Drinking Me Lonely" which is one of my favorite songs by Chris.  The song charted but only reached #42.

Then in 2009, Chris Young went on a tear with 5 straight number one songs. "Gettin' You Home, The Man I Want To Be, Voices, Tomorrow, and You."

Chris Young has one of the best voices in country music right now in my opinion.  Happy Birthday Chris and many more!
