City And Parish Office Closures For Christmas And New Year’s

The City of Lake Charles and Calcasieu Parish officials have announced their office closure dates for the holidays.

All Calcasieu Parish Police Jury offices will be closed on Thursday, December 23 and reopen Monday, December 27. The Solid Waste Convenience Centers, in Lake Charles and Sulphur, will be closed this Friday thru Saturday and reopen Sunday, December 26.

The Calcasieu Parish Library locations will be closed on Thursday, December 23 and reopen Monday, December 27. They will also be closed for New Year's on Thursday, December 30, and reopen on Monday, January 3. During the holidays, you can renew your books and items online at www.calcasieulibrary.org.

Waste Management will keep its regular schedule.

Lake Charles government offices will be closed on Friday, December 24 and will reopen Monday, December 27. They will also be closed for New Year's on Friday, December 31, and reopen on Monday, January 3.

Lake Charles City Garbage Pickup will run their regular schedules during the holidays.
