Concerts & Events In Lake Charles & SWLA This Weekend June 28-30

Friday at last boys and girls. It has been a long hot week here in Southwest Louisiana. Between the heat, work, and the everyday hustle, it's time to get out there and have some fun this weekend.

Luckily, there is a bunch of stuff going on in the area like a festival, concerts, and live music all over the Southwest Louisiana area. Here is a list of all the things rolling this weekend.

The Beauregard Watermelon Festival is taking place this Friday and Saturday in Deridder, Louisiana featuring season 17 winner of American Idol Laine Hardy performing live. Here is a list of all the events going on this weekend at the festival.

Magician and Illusionist Lance Burton will be live inside the Roasa Heart Theatre at the Lake Charles Event Center on Friday night, June 28th. Burton has played over 15,000 shows in Las Vegas and now has taken his show on the road. Get your tickets now at the Lake Charles Event Center.

Pat Green will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center in Lake Charles on Friday night, June 28th. He will hit the stage at 8:30 pm tonight and you will hear all his big hits including Wave On Wave.

Louisiana music favorite Geno Delafose will be live at Linda's Lounge on Friday night. Linda's is located on Lake Street in South Lake Charles and Geno and his band French Rockin' Boogie will perform from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am.

Johnny Jimenez will be live at Chaser's bar in Lake Charles on Friday night starting at 8:00 pm. Then get ready for a July 4th party on Thursday with Johnny and his band playing live at Loggerheads. This will be Johnny's final performance with his band in Lake Charles & Southwest Louisiana. He is moving out of state for a job opportunity.
