Concerts, Festivals, And Events In SWLA And Lake Charles This Weekend July 26-28

This weekend is jam-packed with concerts, festivals, and events in the Southwest Louisiana and Lake Charles area this weekend. Two festivals are going on, a concert, live music at various restaurants and bars, and even a sporting event.

Let's get to it so you can make your choice on what you would like to do this weekend. Here is a list of concerts, festivals, and events going on this weekend.

The 2024 Coushatta Crossroads Festival will be on Saturday, July 20th in Kinder, Louisiana. The festival features the best in Cajun and Zydeco music from the who's who of artists. It takes place inside the air-conditioned pavilion behind Coushatta.  Here is the lineup. 

The Gumbeaux Gators baseball team will be in action in Lake Charles at Joe Miller Ballpark. They will be in action on Saturday and Sunday and will take on the River Monsters. Saturday's game is at 7:00 pm and Sunday's game is at 5:00 pm.

Country singer Cory Kent will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center on Saturday night, July 20th, 2024. He will hit the stage at 8:00 pm.

The Cajun Music and Food Festival is put on by the Lake Charles Chapter of the Cajun French Music Association. The festival will take place inside the Burton Coliseum this Saturday, July 20, 2024. Here is all the info on who's playing.
