National One-Hit Wonder Day: Country Songs That Shined Then Vanished
🐊 KNGT 🐊 | Lake Charles, LA — Since today is National "One Hit Wonder" Day, It made me wonder how many one-hit wonders there have been in country music throughout the years. There are those songs that pop out of nowhere, dominate the airwaves, and then the artist seems to vanish as quickly as they appeared.
There have been several of these fleeting hits in country music. There is a long list of singers who had one huge moment, but never made it back to the top of the charts, despite the genre's reputation for enduring performers like George Strait, Reba and Garth.
Top "One Hit Wonders" of Country Music
