Country Stars In Scary Movies
When you think of country music artists you don't usually think "scary", unless you're reminiscing over Billy Ray Cyrus' mullet days, that is legitimately terrifying. But, surprisingly, there have been a slew of country singers in scary movies.
CMT.com made a list of the "Seven Scary Movies Starring Country Artists" just in time for the spookiest night of the year, Halloween. So, grab that bad of candy you were going to save for trick-or-treaters and get ready to get your scare on!
- Reba McEntire in Tremors
- Dwight Yokam in Panic Room
- Jana Kramer in Prom Night (Yep, the remake starring Britney Snow)
- Lucy Hale in Scream 4
- Kris Kristofferson in the Blade movies
- Trace Adkins in Trailer Park of Terror (I had never heard of this movie either)
- Faith Hill in The Stepford Wives
Alright, so this list is kind of a stretch, I mean, is Lucy Hale really a country artist? And is Trailer Park of Terror really a thing? That sounds like it could quite possibly be the worst movie of all time, but I'm still going to watch it. Trace Adkins is in it, it has to be at least semi epic!
