Crop Duster Crash in Roanoke, LA This Morning

The Jeff Davis Sheriff's office and Welsh Fire District 3 responded to a plane crash around 8:20am today. The press release from the Sheriff's Office reports the crop duster struck a telephone pole, which removed one of its wings. Then, the plane continued until it struck a tree and came to rest in a field.

The pilot, whose name has not yet been released, walked away with minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. The report says the incident is still under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.
