Dwight Yoakam Gets a Scare… in the Air

Dwight Yoakam is counting his lucky stars recently. Dwight turned out to be the lucky one after playing a private party thrown by a multi-million dollar lottery winner.

A plane was carrying Dwight and nine other passengers home from the gig when it made an emergency landing at the Van Nuys airport in California after an engine caught on fire. The plane landed safely with all passengers unharmed. Yoakam has had a string of hits in the 80's and 90's such as "Guitars, Cadillac", "Honky Tonk Man", "Ain't That Lonely Yet", and "A Thousand Miles from Nowhere".
