There are concerts, live music, sporting events, and other things going on across Southwest Louisiana and in Lake Charles to choose from. Whether you want to see a big-time concert, dance to some great traditional Cajun music, or catch a basketball game, we have you covered with a list of things going on.

Country music star Josh Turner will be performing live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center this Saturday, February 21, 2026, for a big show. It has been a while since Josh came to the area, and here is your chance to see him live. He will hit the stage that night at 8:00 pm.
The Cajun French Music Association's Lake Charles Chapter will be having a French dance featuring Cajun music legend Jesse Lege and a hall of fame cast of musicians backing him up and performing live on Friday night, Feb. 20th, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

The McNeese Men's and Women's basketball teams will be in action Saturday afternoon at the Townsley Law Arena in Lake Charles and host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The women's game will tip off at 1:00 pm, and the men's team will take the court at 7:00 pm.
