Hear Florida Georgia Line’s Song With the Backstreet Boys, ‘God, Your Mama and Me’
Backstreet's back -- but maybe not where you'd expect. The iconic boy band has teamed up with Florida Georgia Line for a new song called "God, Your Mama and Me" -- and FGL have selected the tune as the newest single from their most recent album, Dig Your Roots.
Readers can press play on the video below to hear "God, Your Mama and Me." Florida Georgia Line's Tyler Hubbard sounds like the perfect fan when he gushes about the song.
“‘God, Your Mama and Me’ is just such a well-written song -- a song that, when we heard it, we fell in love with it," he comments in a video on Instagram. "We never really heard it said that way, you know, and heard it put that way, but it’s so true, and that’s how we felt about our wives ..."
"God, Your Mama and Me" is about love ... but it's more than that: It's a full celebration of the larger-than-life steadfastness of God, the singers' mothers and their wives; in other words, it's not about "the one," it's about the three.
We can only imagine how Nick Carter, AJ McLean and the rest of BSB felt when they got the call from FGL, but no doubt, the song -- which has a chill, pop-country vibe -- would have been incomplete without the group's trademark harmonies.
If "God, Your Mama and Me" has you saying, "I want it that way," then quit playing games: You can buy the full Dig Your Roots album on Amazon and iTunes now.
