Former McNeese Football Standouts Join Coaching Staff
If you are a huge McNeese football fan like I am then the names Kerry Joseph, Zach Bronson, and Charlie Ayro will be very familiar to you. All three of these former McNeese football players are all in the McNeese Hall of Fame and have been named to be part of head coach Lance Guidry's coaching staff.
Coach Guidry said this today.
“Being able to bring three former all-Americans and McNeese Hall of Fame inductees onto our staff is huge,” said Guidry at the beginning of the year. They all were great players here but they are even better people and role models.”
Not only are these three additions to the coaching staff key to the new regime at McNeese but two of these former players have significant experience playing at the next level of football.
Zach Bronson spent seven years in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers after signing on as an undrafted free agent.
Kerry Joseph spent 5 years in the NFL then 12 years in the Canadian Football league where he was an all star.
The McNeese Cowboys will start the season on Saturday September 3rd, 2016 against Tarleton State in Lake Charles.
