SWLA Singers Gyth Rigdon and Dani LaCour Sing Together

KINDER, LOUISIANA - A pretty cool moment happened over the last week when two of Southwest Louisiana's favorite musicians came together for an impromptu performance, and it was caught on video. Two of our favorites, Gyth Rigdon and Dani LaCour, came together for a fantastic duet of "Picture."

Both Gyth and Dani are super talented and have been performing around Southwest Louisiana for quite some time. Dani has really started to skyrocket over the Deep South in the last few years, including releasing some of her own music with songs like 'The Life I Want," "Girl," "Danger in Disguise," and so many others. Early this year, Dani even released a new EP titled "In My Rearview" that features six original songs.

Gyth Rigdon has recently begun doing a few local shows here around Southwest Louisiana and was recently one of the main headliners at the 2026 Marshland Festival. As many know, Gyth skyrocketed during his appearance on Season 16 of NBC's "The Voice." Gyth hasn't released new music in a few years, but most of the residents know his songs "Body Language," "Way Down," "Proof I've Always Loved You," and many others.

On Tuesday, Dani shared a video on her Social Media of her and Gyth coming together at one of Dani's gigs in Kinder to sing an awesome rendition of the Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow hit song, "Picture."
