If so, then there are several Halloween Costume Contests and parties that are planned in the area.

2025 Halloween Costume Contests In Lake Charles & SWLA

Coushatta Casino Resort is the first up with a costume contest and party. It is taking place in Kinder, Louisiana, on Saturday, October 25th, 2025, and takes place inside of their event center located inside the casino.

If you take the top spot at the Coushatta Costume Contest and Halloween Party, first place will score you $5,000 cash. Second through tenth places will all receive Free Play, where you can score big in the casino and take home some cash, too.

Golden Nugget will host its Halloween party and costume contest on Friday, October 31, 2025, inside the Blue Marini bar. According to the Golden Nugget's Facebook page, they describe their party as,
