We have looked around and searched for things to do this weekend in Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana and have made a list of things for you to choose from. That way you can make your plan of action and go have some fun.
Johnny Jimenez and his band will be performing live at Linda's Lounge on Lake Street in Lake Charles on Saturday night. He will hit the stage starting at 9:00 p.m. You must be 21 or older to enter.
Scott Stapp who is a Grammy award-winning songwriter, solo artist, and lead vocalist of the rock band Creed will be performing live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center inside of the casino resort this Saturday night, December 9th, and will hit the stage at 8:00 p.m. From what we understand, some tickets are still available for the show.
The Lake Area Ballet Theatre will be performing The NUTCRACKER at Rosa Hart Theatre, Lake Charles Civic Center for the public on Friday night, December 8th at 7:00 p.m. and then on Saturday, December 9th at 2:oo p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
The Christmas Experience at Red Oak Farms in Lake Charles will take place this Friday and Saturday. December 8th and 9th. Above is all the info you need to know.
The Children’s Miracle Network is teaming up with the City to present Movies with the Mayor. Sunday at 4 p.m. with Cookies, Cocoa, and More at the Lake Charles Event Center’s Second Floor Mezzanine, and then Join Mayor Nic Hunter for a screening of the feature presentation, The Grinch, which will begin at 5 p.m. inside the Rosa Hart Theatre.
