Holiday Garbage & Trash Collection Schedule, for City of Lake Charles

With the Christmas holiday on Friday, Dec. 25, 2015 and the New Year’s holiday on Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, the City of Lake Charles has issued a schedule for garbage and trash pick.

Trash and garbage scheduled for pickup on Friday, December 25, 2015 will be rescheduled for pickup on Saturday, December 26, 2015.

• The Team Green Recycling Truck and the Nelson Ball Field Recycling Station will be closed on the Christmas Holiday, Friday, December 25, 2015 and will resume regular schedules on Saturday, December 26, 2015.

• The Wood Waste Facility will be closed on Friday, December 25, 2015 and Saturday, December 26, 2015 and will resume regular hours on Monday, December 28, 2015.

• Trash and garbage scheduled for pickup on Friday, January 1, 2016 will be rescheduled for Saturday, January 2, 2016.

• The Team Green Recycling Truck and the Nelson Ball Field Recycling Station will be closed on the New Year’s Holiday, Friday, January 1, 2016 and will resume regular schedules on Saturday, January 2, 2016.

• The Wood Waste Facility will be closed on Friday, January 1, 2016 and Saturday, January 2, 2016 and will resume regular hours on Monday, January 4, 2016.

Services for all offices of the Department of Public Works will be closed on Christmas and New Years Day, regular offices hours will resume on the following Mondays.
