If The Presidential Election Was Today, Who Would Southwest Louisiana Vote For?

Today is the New York primary which is important to all the candidates left in the race both on the Democratic and Republican sides.  On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are still in the race. Hillary is looking for a big win today since she was a Senator from New York for eight years.

On the Republican side, Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and John Kasik are battling it out for the New York rich delegate votes.  Of course Trump is predicting a huge win in New York today since he is from New York City and a mogul in the city.

Since both parties candidates may not reach the number of delegate votes needed to secure the nomination, it would be a split convention on both sides and who knows who the nominees will be.

So with all that being said, I took a poll this morning and asked our listeners if the election was held today, who would you vote for?  Here are the result of our poll:

Republicans:

Donald Trump -- 60%

Ted Cruz  -- No Votes

John Kasik -- No Votes

Democrats:

Hillary Clinton -- No Votes

Bernie Sanders -- 20%

NONE -- 20%
