The emotions of a wedding. For most, it's the happiest day of their lives. However, that happiness is often laced with a twinge of sadness as the happy couple and their assembled guests recount and reflect on those that couldn't be there.

Since this is wedding season around the world countless ceremonies are being celebrated as couples state their vows to honor, love, and cherish their intended. It is the hope of most couples that these most important of important moments be witnessed by those who have made the biggest impression on their lives.

For those who have a parent that has passed away, the wedding day can be bittersweet. While the joy of a new union fills the air, there is a sense of melancholy that persists because of those that are missing. But, are those dearly departed truly gone?

A Tik Tok video posted by the husband and wife photography team at Danleigh Videography may have given us visual proof that those who love us from beyond the grave are still very much a part of our lives.

In the video shared on the Tik Tok social platform, you can see and hear the mother of the bride reflecting and lamenting the sadness that the bride's father could not walk her down the aisle. Then, "Dad" makes his presence known.

In Louisiana, we would call that kind of moment a frisson moment. The kind of moment that gives us chills. But not cold chills, the kind of chills that warm us up from the inside.

As the Mother of the Bride was speaking of her late husband and the bride's father you can hear the sound of a random candle breaking. Some might call that a coincidence. Others, myself included, call that unconditional love. The kind of love that a father has for his children. The kind of love that can't be contained by death.
